Mekong NYC’s 2026 Cambodian/Khmer New Year Celebration
On April 18, 2026, Mekong NYC hosted its annual Khmer New Year celebration at New Mulan, bringing together over 300 people for an evening of culture, joy, and connection.
The event featured vibrant performances by Watt Samakki Dance Troupe and Samantha Hing, Mekong NYC’s Board Co-Chair, alongside live music from Bad Boyz Band, who kept the celebration lively throughout the night. Attendees also heard remarks from the NYC Commission on Human Rights, underscoring the importance of uplifting and supporting our communities.
